Connect your phone to the Tracktuned Link WiFi network (SSID: Tracktuned Link, password: tracktuned). Open the Tracktuned Connect app and it will automatically detect and connect to the device.
Make sure your phone is connected to the Tracktuned Link WiFi network, not your home or mobile network. Check that the Tracktuned Link device is powered on and the LED is solid. Try toggling WiFi off and on again on your phone. If the issue persists, restart the device by unplugging and reconnecting power.
Plug a compatible USB-CAN adapter (such as a CANable) into the USB-A port on the Tracktuned Link device. Connect the CAN adapter to your ECU's CAN bus using the appropriate wiring (CAN-H, CAN-L, and ground). The device will detect the adapter automatically. Open the app and select the correct ECU profile in settings.
Haltech Elite is fully supported with up to 15 buttons, four button modes (momentary, toggle, hold, rotary), and live LED feedback. ECUMaster EMU Black (12 buttons) and CANTCU/Blink Marine (12 buttons) are also available now. MaxxECU and Turbolamik support is coming soon.
Check that the USB-CAN adapter is plugged in and wired correctly to the CAN bus. Ensure the correct ECU profile is selected in app settings. Verify CAN bus termination is correct (most setups need a 120 ohm resistor at each end of the bus). Check the CAN adapter LED for activity.
Make sure you are within WiFi range of the Tracktuned Link device (typically 10-15 metres). Avoid physical obstructions between your phone and the device. The app will automatically reconnect when the connection is restored. If you are on iOS, make sure the app has permission to use local network access.
Tracktuned Connect updates through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Enable automatic updates or check for updates manually in your device's app store.
No. Tracktuned Connect requires a Tracktuned Link device to communicate with your ECU over CAN bus. The app connects to the device over WiFi and the device handles all CAN bus communication.
